Hi, I'm Hala-Jo

​

I was raised in Lebanon, where my love for photography began at an early age. My father always had a camera in his hands, documenting everyday moments and every trip we took. Watching him capture memories inspired me to do the same.

​

I went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Film & Photography in Lebanon before moving to Tampa, Florida, in late 2022 to continue pursuing my passion.

​

Over the past three years, I've photographed more than 100 weddings. Weddings are one of my favorite things to photograph because every celebration is unique. I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds, documenting genuine moments, and working at some of the most beautiful venues across the country.

Beyond weddings, my favorite creative outlet is portrait photography. I enjoy building images from scratch, experimenting with color, light, and composition to create dreamy, artistic photographs that feel both intentional and timeless.

I'm also passionate about documenting events of all kinds; from corporate gatherings and community celebrations to live music. There's something special about photographing people as they truly are: laughing with friends, connecting with others, performing on stage, or simply living in the moment. Those authentic moments are what make photography so meaningful to me.

I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable, celebrated, and seen in front of the camera. My business is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly, and I welcome couples and clients of all identities, backgrounds, and cultures with an open and inclusive approach.

Whether I'm capturing a wedding, creating portraits, or documenting an event, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel honest, beautiful, and worth remembering for years to come.
